For one, why should Turkey head the list? It is the semslalt economy of the six. Well, maybe South Africa is smaller. Mostly, I think it is an attempt to challenge the primacy of the US and EU in the global economic market. I'm surprised they don't try to get Japan to join, but I guess any union between Japan and China would be pretty hard to do. Maybe they can absorb ASEAN?
